Android Device Manager Pin Not Working

Google has completely disappointed me with this bug, when hundreds of people get locked out of their own phone because the unlock with the password feature isn't working, an entity of this size in our world needs to take responsibility and discontinue the app or get it fixed. In one of the blogs that I saw there were literally hundreds of people locked out of their phone and I didn't see a single contribution from Google on that location. It took me more than an hour to even find a phone number for Google and then in the end the only solution was to wipe my phone and start over. This is just not right for Google to ignore!

Note: Some of these steps work only on Android 8.0 and up. After you sign in to a Google Account on an Android device, Find My Device is on by default. Nov 07, 2013 Android Device manager does not work for me. Since the launch of android device manager I have never once been able to get it to work.

Except it does not work anymore. Now it shows me 'Since Google has verified that a screen lock is already set, the password you entered won't be needed.' Worse, when I set up my alternative password to my fingerprint, I was asked to include a letter in it. Only to find, after reboot, the device will only allow me to enter numbers. Also, it will start to ask me to wait half a minute, then a minute, 5 minute, half an hour, now I am waiting for an hour. All this is in the latest version I stupidly upgraded yesterday!

LARGE GOOGLE ANDROID FAILURE!!!!!!! AND INCREASING BY THE DAY... Patch Panel Label Template Excel. What happened? YouTube app says you have to go to the PlayStore to update the application to use. Updated the application which launches you into the Android Application Manager.

Next day.turning on the phone yields a request for a password never put in place.see previous posts. We use the App Manager and follow the directions. Temporary passwords don't work.up to 14 times!!!!

Now each time you try.you must wait.ONE HOUR.before you can try again. OF COURSE you've been writing the passwords down to insure your not the 1 screwing up. Visited all the lovely websites 4 help.no luck.

The AAM may work for some, but not all. KICKER.I'm a parent with 2 under age kids. 6 hours later, NO ACCESS. Emergencies, Immediate Access, etc.

THIS IS BAD FOR GOOGLE.HOPE SOMEONE REVIEWS.NOTICED 5000+ HITS ON THIS TOPIC. Just this page. IN THE LAST 30 DAYS! JUST TRIED AGAIN to use the Android Application Manager to unlock my phone.1 hour later again.wrote the temporary password done on a big white board behind me.still didn't work. MY GUESS.Google knows about the problem but may be stuck in corporate politics trying to figure how to 'un stick' so many users who've fallen prey to the application manager.

OUR BAD.of course.GOOGLE.finally! Welcome to corporate politics and inertia. One other thing.and one other NAFARIOUS consideration.NOW WE KNOW THAT GOOGLE'S ANDROID OPERATING SYSTEM HAS THE ABILITY TO SHUT DOWN YOUR PHONE! Our inconvenience.of course.hours, days.PERHAPS WHEN IT LIKES.OR.WHEN 'THEY' LIKE.AND NOTHING YOU OR I CAN DO ABOUT IT.KINDA SOUNDS LIKE THE OVER REACH EVERYONE WAS CONCERNED ABOUT WITH.you know.MICROSOFT!!!!

WHAT DO YOU THINK??? Hi friends, I have tried this on my new Lenova A60 with latest android version. I can give ring and change the password on the google account. My mobile is connected in internet.

When i given ring my mobile rings and set password the hint display on the mobile screen. But not displaying the input fields to get the new passwords from me. I can lock from the device manager.

But how can i unlock using the device manager. But mobile not having device manager app. Pls give some suggestion ASAP. Thanks in advance. So I really wish I could have read some of the comments before I did what they told me to do which is try it before something actually happens and I'm ending up with the same problem everybody else is it won't unlock I put in every password I can possibly think of and it's not working I think I'm going to make a comment to Google about this this is just outrageous it's irritating been working on this since 4 o'clock today I can't believe I will never do no stupid stuff like that again obviously if you lose your phone what are the chances that you're going to get it back probably not. I don't like the fact that I have to pay $ for something that I can't even use that ridiculous I have the Samsung tablet 8 inch that I have to pay for this really really sucks we need to go viral.
