I just recently rebuilt my Dell M4600 laptop workstation and using the Dell Support download, installed all the drivers for Windows 7 64 bit Enterprise. The sound is working but it doesn't sound 'correct'. I have a dock at work that I use and sometimes the sound comes out of the speakers even when the headphone line is plugged into the headphone jack on the port and I have to plug it directly into the laptop, sometimes it works fine. The largest problem, though, is the way it sounds. My best description would be that it sounds as if it is attempting to create a 5.1 sound field but is unable to do so correctly.
