I don't have rfactor, but I'm testing the VHR 2014 Cup cars converted to run in Game Stock Car 2013 which is based on rfactor and usually runs most rfactor mods. The conversions don't always work like they should though. The problem I'm having is with tires and grip. I thought it was the track setting (testing with Texas now), but I changed some of those values and it didn't improve things. I also ran some of my other cars from the base GSC game and other mods and they ran fine on the track. So, I tried running the VHR cars on base GSC tracks and the grip/tire performance was pretty bad there too.

The AI seems to get around the track well enough, but for me driving at lower speeds with gentle inputs, the car tends to break lose and spin like it's on ice. I'm going to look into the car, tire and physics files and see if I can make them drivable. Any other suggestions?

If you drive VHR 2014 in rfactor how does it feel? I've mainly driven NR2003 and a bit of iracing, but this VHR mod isn't anywhere close to the feel of those (when converted to GSC).

I play VHR 2014 all the time,I have moved from playing NR2K3 to VHR because I think it is real close to IRacing,And as we all know that IRacing is as close as it gets. I would also say some time this month Dave will be releasing a offline mod for every one that plays offline. I know the handling was made a little more lose because people said it was to easy to drive. If you are having problems being lose are tight you can fix a lot of that in your controller setting,If you would like i will find the two controller setting that will change the car from lose to tight are tight to lose.

Click to expand.Thanks for the reply. I mainly wanted to know how drivable it is in rfactor and it sounds like it's fine for you. Part of my problem may be that the physics/ffb isn't handled exactly the same way in Game Stock Car. It works well enough for most of the rfactor mods I've tried, but not always if they have special physics tweaks. Don't worry about looking up the controller settings.
